For over two decades, Meriam has chosen to live in Pennsylvania to raise her family. There is no other place she would consider calling home. Access to quality education is essential, and she will work tirelessly to ensure that our children have the support and resources they need to succeed.
Meriam’s approach centers on providing opportunities for teachers, parents, and students to collaborate on creating a robust and engaging learning experience. She will fight to raise academic standards, encourage fair funding, and bolster our trade programs so our kids can continue to get the best education possible.
Reproductive Freedom
Family planning decisions such as IVF and contraception should be made with doctors, not politicians. Meriam will protect reproductive rights in Pennsylvania and ensure all women can safely access care. She will also ensure that everyone, including seniors, has access to healthcare and childcare, as well as expanding access to mental health services and preventative care.
Smart Growth
We must attract businesses that provide good-paying jobs while protecting Pennsylvania’s natural beauty. Meriam is committed to addressing climate change and preserving a cleaner world for our families, both today and for generations to come. Her vision includes boosting the local economy while preserving our beautiful parks, recreational spaces and farmland.
